Guitar Club - KruseJammers

Picture
KruseJammers Guitar Club is an informal 12-week club offered to 4th and 5th graders during lunch recess.  The magic in getting kids to try playing guitar is ensuring a fun and easy start.  This inclusive, non-competitive group guitar gathering provides an opportunity for students at any level to particpate in making music through song-based learning.  In addition, the opportunity to share songs for more experienced players is encouraged and integrated.  Success is experienced by everyone because each player determines the chord fingering or note variation that's a comfortable challenge for them (like choosing a ski run:  green, blue or black diamond).  Kruse currently has 16 guitars.  Students with their own guitars are encouraged to bring them.
